North Korean military officials reportedly inspected the joint industrial
complex in Kaesong earlier this week, fueling speculation that the
communist regime may halt South Korean access to the factory park.
Seoul's Unification Ministry said eight officials including a policy
director of the National Defense Commission met with the chairman of
the Kaesong Industrial District Management and took a tour around
the complex facilities.
The North made a similar visit in December 2008 which was followed
by a travel ban on South Koreans to the site six days later.
Seoul says it could take countermeasures in response to Pyongyang's
recent moves.
